Hi, I don’t think I’ve posted here before. I’m in Salmon Arm, BC.
I used to do a lot of shooting and hunting but it’s really been a long time though I’m still interested in it.
I’m shocked at the price of ammunition these days. That probably takes a lot of the fun out of it for some people. When I was in my teens and early 20’s I didn’t have any money but I could still buy enough ammunition to have fun at the range every week. I don’t know how realistic that is for a lot of young people now.
I actually decided to sell a bunch of guns relatively recently and set up as a vendor at the Kamloops Gun Show. Was that last weekend? I’m losing it.
I sold a bunch of really nice stuff there and I’m looking to sell again at the Salmon Arm show (actually in Enderby this year) in the fall.
I’m very wary about selling online so I don’t know if I’m going to try doing that yet.
We used to have the Gun Runner back in my day and I’m sure a lot of people here still remember it. I’m assuming it’s no longer around anymore. We used to use the Wholesale Sports Catalog with its extensive firearms section to get the new market prices and dream about the next great purchase. I think they are only in Alberta at the time and now they’re completely gone.
