Hello all. I hail from South Africa but i work in canada during the summer months, i was introduced to shooting by my father at an age so young i couldn’t even recall. Started out as precision bolt action rifle shooting for the purpose of becoming a more proficient hunter. Ended up evolving into a love affair that takes a great deal of my time and money. I enjoy reloading for precision and tinkering with loads to make all my rifles shoot the best they can.

Ooh! And i have hunted almost all the south african plains game but my favourite animal to hunt is by far baboons.

I did not expect much enthusiasm about the baboon hunting, maybe a guy should make a post on the hunting thread and go into some detail about it. Trying to get access to the EE here, might as well make it interesting maybe? Some of the locals in the area eat them or feed them to the dogs, however i do not eat them. The are a great pest and hunting them effectively is quite the challenge because of their high intelligence and great eyesight.
