"New" HK 45............ Full size and Compact tactical ( PICS )

Well if it's going to be $1100 then I will take 2! LOL. Think how cool it would be if guns were like $100. You would own hundreds and never really have to sell any.

Well, the USP sells for $1000 and I don't see why HK45 would cost much more than that. After all, it’s just a USP45 with a slightly longer barrel and different grip.

I know im coming into this thread veryyyyy late, but one note on the color of the "turd" grips... I think the contrast is way off. The photog looks like he bumped up the contrast in the photos, so I would reserve judgement until you see it in person. I want compact tactical one though. :D

i agree.. the off color yellow looks very bad... but at least you will never misplace it... the color just screams at you!!!

The guy's camera is messed up.

Here's a more accurate representation of the actual color of the frame.

There was a great write up on this handgun a while back in Guns and Weapons for Law Enforcement. I guess Vickers had quite a bit of say in the redesign of this unit. Should be an impovement on an already good thing.

I read in the latest two monthly issues of SOF that the marines were looking at the 40 S&W. That was just a glance & when reading both issues I will be more sure. Mind you still prototypes & who the maker is I really do not know.

I agree. I think this is an extremely reliable pistol (USP), with a some input from these guys it should be more comfortable/ergonomic. That is basically what it is, a USP with some improvements.

Has anyone heard when this and the P30L will be available to the Canadian market? I have seen on one of the HK forums some guys selling pre-orders for summertime delivery.

I was going to purchase a CompTac in the near future, but after seeing this model, I'll wait for the HK45 CompTac.

Questar, you know what to do! :D

I've heard that there may be some issues delaying their availability in Canada. I'm sure Wolverine will bring 'em in as soon as possible.

Just about every other country has full capacity mags. I think this may be a problem or delay, as we will only get some euthanized 10rd mags.

HK45 mags hold only 10 rounds anyway, as the gun's grip is thinner than that of the USP .45.
