New Hogue Ruger Takedown stock looks sweet

I see they are coming out with some new takedown stocks from Hogue for the Ruger 10/22

The green thumbhole one in the picture looks sweet !

Says preorder on their site so looks like not released yet tho

There is definitely a shortage for aftermarket 10/22 Takedown stocks. Looking forward to this hogue stock though!

That shroud looks like the Tactical Solutions SB-X takedown barrel.

Looks great! I'll be getting one for my takedown for sure. I like that it has sling attachments, it was pretty silly that the factory stock didn't have a way to attach a sling. I also like that there is no barrel band.

thought they did?

someone mentioned barrels as well, pretty sure TacSol or VQ offers those for the take downs.

ya i just checked, Boyd's sells 4 different stocks for the Ruger takedown.
and TacSol does make a replacment barrel in fact its the one that is on those Hogue stocks with the silencer shroud on it.

Sadly, I was unable to find a picture on the web about it, but I clearly remember that for a short period of time, possibly 25 years ago, a company produced a takedown stock for the10-22. There was a cam/lever system intergated in the forend that clamped the barrel against the receiver face. A standard 10-22 became a takedown just with the use of this stock.

Ramline also did one but I've never seen it...... maybe that's the one from "25 years ago"?
