Hi everybody, I've posted a couple of times before, and have had some great feedback - thanks to anyone who posted.

As the thread title might suggest, I'm brand new to this, and am a bit lost on how to start. I've already started reaching out to some of the local farmers, and some promising opportunities might be coming up.

What I need most though, is the chance to learn first hand from some folks who already have their game down. Is there anyone out there who needs an extra hand, gun or gopher on an upcoming hunt?

I wouldn't need any share of the harvest, and I would respect any place hunted in as private and the reserve of whomever uses it - I wouldn't poach someone's sweet spot. I'd be happy to do the heavy lifting, etc, for the chance to participate.

Please IM me if you'd be willing to teach me a few things; it'd be really appreciated, and I sincerely hope I can get acquainted with the local hunting community.

Cheers

Hi. Join the EESA club. Near Alymer. Sooner or later you'll be invited on a hunt. You need a place to practice and you can move into restricted firearms. http://www.eesa.ca/
No gophers in Ontario. Groung hogs that will be soon going to bed for the winter.
