Is there anywhere near Penticton a guy could get a hunting license right away? My son just got his hunter ID number and really wants to get out .

I haven't seen any shop where they sell Hunting Linc. in quite a while , online only that I know.

In BC the licences are bought on-line and you don't get a paper copy. The tags are also bought on-line and they will mail the physical tag to you.

The licences and tags can also be purchased at the Government Agent (Service BC) office but I don't know if they are open regular hours or not due to the Covid-19 situation.

I did the whole thing online when I moved from Sask. Transferred licence over and bought a bear tag. Came in like 4 days.

If you can’t find a local independent retailer (getting harder to find them), service BC sells licenses and tags and according to their website they are still open at the moment. If you don’t have a service bc location nearby you can order everything online, I bought this years license and tags on a Friday and had them in my mailbox the following Friday.
