Yesterday I took the last hunting course for the season in Quebec. Wasn't easy to find a course in English so had to travel to Montreal. I was mildly surprised to see how full the class was. Ranging from older guys like me to young men and women, with quite a few youngsters taking the course also. There was also a scramble to sign up for the PAL course. I just found it encouraging to see so many. These courses have all been full in both French and English since they started for the year. The anti-hunting, anti-gun crowd would have us believe this is not the case. Anyhow, I'm going to start with small game and a friend who's experienced.
