So what did you guys buy for the 2006 hunting season?? Any new rifles, bows, scopes ect...
I purchased a new 270 wsm, and a smokeless muzzleloader for this whiteatail season. I also got a new Garmin Legend CX thats great for marking my stands and deer sign. :D

Good luck in 2006

Cheers!!

M70 in .243. I'm waiting for a new Burris FF2 3x9 to arrive. The evil Cabela's twisted my rubber arm enough to purchase a bunch of new camo clothing. A new bipod for winter yotes. Most of this arrived the same day. My wife was talking divorce by the end of the evening. :D ;)

Bought a used Remington 7mm beautiful wood older BDL, doubt it will see much of the bush though. A new camo jacket from Houligan, new puppy named Hank that should be fun with the birds, some Cabela's boots. A pile of reloading stuff to get me through the weeks where I am not hunting and a shiney new book with a pile of tags in it that says I can shoot 3 deer, 1 elk and a b/bear!

couple new leupold riflescopes to replace other leupolds I had, new trail cam, new rangefinder

:beerchug:

Leica spotting scope, might get a wall tent tomorrow, New tires and a programmer for the truck to help get a few more km's to the tank full.

....Oh yeah, and this little Moose tumbling gem.:p A 146 Husqvarna in 9.3x57.

Let's just say it has been a more expensive year than usual.

Got Marg a new scope for her "little" 358 Winchester, a 1.5-4.5 Busnell 3200, so she won't have to worry about cleaning the lenses before she whacks that big bull this fall.

It was both hilarious and frustrating watching her two years ago. Pouring rain, she cleaned the scope off three times while a 58" bull just stood there and waited for her.

I picked up a double barrel 10guage for goose hunting, and a new set of bushnell legend binos. I also bought my son a new 243 for his b'day. So I still have to get him a bunch more goodies yet.

You may want to get her some B/C flip-ups, better than trying to see inbetween raindrops.

Spitzer, she had scope covers. It was raining that hard that the lens was covered immediately. The Bushnell Rainguard has solved that problem, however.

Actually tried it to see several times, and it works just as advertised. The image dims a bit, but you can still see the target and the reticule clearly.

New Sako Finnlight rechambered to 7STW with mcmillan pillar bedded stock, tuned trigger, had it powder coated matte black with the barrel done accumark style and Talley rings holding a Zeiss conquest 3.5-10x44.:) Corlane sports did the work for me.

And...

CZ 550 safari 375 H&H (my first) and have ordered a mcmillan stock for it as well.

And...

Sako AV 338 win mag also pillar bedded in a mcmillan stock ( still at the smith's).

Not to mention a whole bunch of goodies including but not limited to a Nimrod backpack system.

All $$ spent with good intentions!
