if you are really concern, run an adjustable gas plug. Lot of people said it doesn't do anything. Oh yeah, how come the gun dont cycle if i leave the adjusting screw out?!?
Mine always did better with Norinco surplus than hirtenberg. Buy a 1000 round crate. And I saw drastic improvements again when I pulled and recrimped the bullets on the Norinco. Like <2 MOA better, and I'm not a great shooter to begin with.
I've owned several of these and I'll typically get best results with 150gr Federal "Blue Box". My SOCOM 18 currently shoots right around MOA. I did swap the factory stock for a USGI fiberglass one, but otherwise no other mods. Also no issues running the 10rd AIA Enfield mags. The safety on mine is also a little tough to disengage (I've seen others express a similar issue).
Depends on which batch of hirtenberger you get. You will get a mixed answer. If you are asking to see if a casing can reload, it means you are not ready/inexperience to reload yet. Take a reloading class, it will get you a lot of knowledge
