Does anyone know if these are available in Canada yet?

I don't want to start a flame war or anything but that new LE M37 isn't very appealing in terms of mall-ninja tactical looking shotguns.

The Norinco M37 tactical version is much more appealing.

But then again I'm not much of a mall-ninja:D

(putting on fire retardant suit):p

Maybe not, but the deer slayer and upland models are good guns, except the uplander should be offered in shorter barrel lengths like 23", 26" & 28".

What makes for an appealing "mall-ninja tactical looking shotgun" anyways?

SC,

Now, now, no need to write it in bold:)

I don't own an M37 nor have I shot one but it was a model I was looking to buy until Ithaca closed (I'm one of those left-handed but very ambidextrous persons but would still enjoy shooting a bottom ejecting shotgun). The ones I've held felt pretty well balanced (deer-slayer) and I still want one today.

The only place I found that sold them was over at Gander Mountain and the nice people there would not sell me any of theirs due to the convenient U.S. export laws on guns:mad: What made me even madder was that they were liquidating their Ithaca stock because Ithaca had closed...good deals were to be made...but not by any Canucks.

Then I started looking at the BPS during the last two weeks then Ithaca opened up again, but too late for LeBaron's yearly mass purchase of guns. I guess I'll be stuck waiting till the end of the year:(

Boohoo.

The regular M37s are beautiful looking shotguns but I still say that LE M37, well...:D

I ve owned several 870 and then one day bought a junker 37. Wow

Once you get rid of the ugly stock you will have something very decent!

Does LE have disconnector?

I don't think so. I sure like the way my 30 year old slam-firing, portable claymore can unload the mag :D

I am not an Ithaca fan but I hate to see any gunmaker go under.

I hope they make it this time.

I hope we start seeing more of them on the racks of gunshops so we can actually buy them.

It drove me nuts to not be able to buy one when I was looking at them at Gander Mountain:mad:
