New Jaeger Rifle

Just bought a Jaeger built by Matt Avance. .62 Cal rifled bbl. Shoots awesome. Switched it over to flint as soon as I got it. My club goes cut the line on everything...that may change now. This came from the States...gotta love the exchange rates. I find the Jaegers are an aquired taste. I considered them butt ugly before buying mine but wanted something in a huge rifled bore. It been growing on me. This one is stocked in Walnut with an etched finish on all the iron parts..makes for a very attractive finish. Picked it up unfired.

Nice, what kind of groups and how much powder...Bob

Only shot light target loads so far. 60 grains of 3f was giving me big one hole groups offhand. have not benched it yet

Nice rifle - extended trigger/hand guard gives it some character. What would something like that cost on average?

I paid 700 USD. Was probably around 1000 USD to build it.
