NEW! Jard J68 9mm NON-RESTRICTED

Where is the bolt release button on the rifle?

The bolt hold open tab is located behind the magazine well, to release the bolt you pull back on the charging handle and let it slide back into battery.

I've got the dealer gun right in front of me and overall I will say the "butt pad" is terrible, it is squared off instead of rounded out so it does not sit well........good thing it is only a 9mm, on a .308 it would really be painful.

The trigger and reset on these rifles is short and very light, you should be able to dump a magazine really quickly with this.

Any other question I might be able to help answer?

The two we were shipped both have threaded barrels with no device or thread protector..........really don't know what to say about that.

Dumb is about the only word that comes to mind.
At this price point another $15 for a thread protector is within the budget.

You are telling me, I cannot even begin to guess at what the people at Jard are smoking......

The only thing that looks aesthetically pleasing on that is the handgrip. It looks like it wasn't finished being developed and released in the prototype stage. What an ugly gun and I like bullpups.

Very shortly, we will have all the necessary threaded accessories, and you will be able to attach them to your Jard J68. The threads coming in naked was a permitting issue, believe it or not, we wanted the rifles here first, as we needed separate papers for the accessories, and didn't want to deal with the border confusion. Also, the early feedback was that people wanted naked threads, as they wanted to attach their own accessories, or for the shops to add their own.
