So I just picked up a hand selected K-31 and it's a beautiful piece of hardware but this trigger is awful. Seriously, what kind of milsurp is this? A buttery smooth two stage take up with a four pound break cleaner than glass? Come on. I thought all milsurps had mushy, creepy triggers that take the effort of Hercules to squeeze, like my Steyr M95.

Guess I'll live with it. ;)

My Norwegian Krag and also my Ljungmann have a similar smooth 2 stage pull to my K 31. All of them are VERY accurate rifles, I am going to use the K31 as a truck gun for deer hunting this year.

The K-11 and the full size rifle are next on the wanted list. I now see what the fuss is about, these rifles are the epitome of fine Swiss manufacturing. Puts the Kar98K to shame!

Come on now guys everyone knows the Noisey-Maggot has the best trigger. It's long, mushy, inconsistent pull and never the same break teaches proper trigger squeezing technique and keeps your holding skills on target like no other.

They are not much better than a SKS and getting close to a Mosin Nagant trigger! But seriously, best trigger on a mil-surp that I have tried is on one of my No.4 Mk.2 Lee Enfields, may be it was worked on by someone before me, but it breaks real clean after a short take up. I also have a P14 with a super nice trigger, but this rifle was setup for target shooting.
