I'm thinking the 2 inch barrel will be the only length offered.
The revolution seems to be an extra round in the cylinder and no weight gain, plus a good DOA trigger , low profile replaceable sights and a smooth contoured snag free design.

Just for a joke I mocked one up...I don't have my regular programs here at work so I had to make do with MS Paint. Not sure if the proportions are correct but it'd be close. I don't think it looks too bad, especially with larger grips...not sure how likely it'd be that Kimber would ever make it.

Gotta Kimber Custom Target II and it has been flawless. 5000 rounds down range, ball, jacketed, lead, SWC, eats all of it.

I love all of the internet wieners who diss this brand while never having had one. Thanks for the insight...

I also own a Custom Target II. New me as of this summer. Previous owner had 1000 down the pipe with no issues. I put another 300 through it. So far no issues. It cycled 200gr LSWC reloads with powder charges from min to max with no issues. Also fed Norinco ball ammo and S&B ball ammo just fine.

Kimber issues are usually not with the function and reliability of the guns, but with the quality of the parts used. I`ve heard many stories about how the internals break because of poor quality but I still think its a very small proportion of owners that are dissatisfied and give the company a beating whenever possible. It`s a shame that they lowered their quality standards, yes, but they are still outstanding firearms.

FACK! I WANT THAT GUN! (the grip looks like it could use a mod behind the trigger guard). A wet dream would be this in .44 Rem Mag. .357 ain't bad, but .44 is better.
