New Kimber Rimfire Super

I will be the first to admit that it isn't the most practical choice, but then again with our handgun laws,no rimfire handgun is really practical.
I am told that the break in is much shorter with the Rimfire Super since it is supposedly hand fitted in the custom shop.
At Kimbers recommendation,I will start with some cci minimags to break it in ,then do some testing to see what it prefers.

It prefers CCI Velocitors, as my buddy's Kimber Rimfire doesn't cycle well with "lesser" ammunition.

My CZ Kadet shoots anything and everything and if it's a dud, I just pull the trigger again, usually does the trick. Both are on the higher end of the rimfire pistol curve so cost isn't that big an issue.

But the Kimber is a very nice piece. It is difficult to be accurate with it because of its light weight, relative to other handguns.

Now that it has about 700 to 800 rounds through it,it functions much better, and does quite well with Federal high velocity solid points.
As far as accuracy goes,I am by no means a great handgun shot, but I can usually keep 10 rounds in a 6" circle at 25 yards offhand.

I've heard that mini mags also work very well in these kimber rimfires. I've never really looked into the mini mags so im unsure of their availability here. That might be a factor as well as both the velocitor and federal HV or both on the pricey side of 22 ammo are they not? Still can't decide whether or not the extra $500 is worth it for the super over the target version. Again Targets are easier to find for sale so might be another availability issue.
