I couldn't take it anymore and found myself a brand new non-current 2004 Remington VS SF in 220 Swift with the thinner wrist HS stock which I much prefer over the new 2006 style. Pud gave me a great deal on it and its on its way to my gun smith in Peterborough for the install of a nickel Timney trigger to be set @ 1.5 pounds. Dies still need to be purchased for the loading of some custom J4 jacket 52 grain hollow points which I've been told can be pushed above 4000 FPS
For the top of this marvelous Remington I've got a 2006 Leupold VX II 6-18x40 A/O LRV duplex scope and Burris signature rings. I figure that this rig will make this go pop out past 400 yards on a good day of dirt pig hunting
Any suggestions out there if neck sizing is the way to go or should I stick to full length sizing? What dies are recommended for top accuracy? I'll post some pic's in a couple weeks once she's ready to let the air out of some yotes.
