I was in the market for a new LRF last fall, and was looking at the Bushnell ELite 1500 ARC and the Leica 1200 CRF. In the end I went with Bushnell due to the $250 price difference, and Ive been pretty happy with it in the last year, it ranges great.

Well this years Leicas price came down alot and I made a quick decision to switch over to the more compact Leica which is the main feature I like over the Elite 1500, as it is used mainly for hunting.

It'll hit trees at 900 yards already, I cant wait to take it out this weekend

Leica makes awe inspiring optics. I have an older 800 model....love it, but the extra range would be nice......bu too much for archery..lol..

Don't forget to give us an update! I'm debating between these very two models!

well I can range deer at 415 yards at least (furthest tried) and cattle @ 610 yards

trees out to 900 yards no problems, 1200 yards on certain ones

furthest ranging so far on a reflective target (grain silo) is 1390 yards or so

I like it! :D

I guess I miss it, but since the area I hunt is pretty damn flat, its not a feature that was very crucial to me
