New Line Of Springfield 1911s?

We have them on order but you're going to be looking at about a year before they arrive due to long lead times from Springfield. If you want one you'll have to place an order with a dealer. Thanks.

Not worth the extra money. Get a Canuck or a Seraphim.
Seraphims come with FO front sight, front strap checkering, and a mag well!

If you plink or like to look at guns in a safe, those are two great choices.

nearing 40k rounds in under 18months(heavy competition/practice use. Not a safe queen). I will confirm my springfield frame locks up Tight. finally put a new sear/hammer at the 35k mark as the sear was rounded. (Still no hammer follow)
some seraphim guns can't start working without a good teasing, or they rattle on the line and simply break firing pins because the weather is not nice.
They're not bad, for what you pay. Norinco's are far better (they work)

If your in a competition, There are a few companies that produce a rock solid frame and slide with quality parts for under $2000.

I used to have an NP29. It worked well and was accurate but after a few thousand rounds, the locking lugs started peening due to improper fit. I like the 1911 platform in 9mm so I bought an RO. This is the most I've spent on any gun(lots of money for me) and my biggest disappointment. It's been gone over 3 months now for warranty repair and I haven't owned it for even one year.
