X 2. I guess it's safe to say that you are a Winchester guy .

Not really. I bought these for resale. The fellow I bought them from wants to clear out pretty well all his guns. I bought some dandies from him before, and he's got some real nice rifles still to go.

Don't get me wrong. These Winchesters are very nice rifles and I would love to keep them, but the old milsurps are calling. :)

My main old whitetail rifle is a 94 .32WS, plus I have a nice 94 30-30 I bought from a fellow CGN'r. I bought a set of Canadian Centennials back in 1967. The rifle was stolen but I still have the carbine.

Nice batch fer sure. That's the beauty of the Winchester collectable series. A lot of folks grabbed them up for their collections, but never took 'em out shooting or hunting which is a shame. The Winchester collectables generally have good barrels & stock fitment and make fine shooters. I've not had a bum one yet, unlike some Remilins that I had.

That runs counter to a couple other guys I have spoke with that were pretty sure the reason the Commemoratives that they ended up with as shooters were such crap, was that the Factory wasn't particularly careful with them as they figured most would never be shot.
