New loading area almost ready to rock-n-roll.

So for the past number of years I have had my loading area in the garage. Needless to say it wasn't much fun loading when the weather was either extremely hot or extremely cold.

Since both of our kids are out of the house and we just had new floors put in on the upper floor, I figured now was the time to make my move. It took a little convincing to get the wife on board but persistence (and a few temper tantrum's) payed off. LOL

Her biggest complaint is the loading desk itself but I told her we would look for something else that would satisfy both of us.

Anyway, here's a pic of the new room so far. I still need to move my bullet supply and a few more items upstairs but I'm pretty happy so far.

Looks good but those don't look like reloading supplies in the plastic drawer thing on the right. Time to kick the wife out of the room completely
Put a lock on the door and move your rifles in there as well.

You said both kids so you take one room and let the wife have the other

Either that or insulate and heat your garage and keep all your stuff there.

Actually it's the daughters crap in the plastic drawers (we happen to have A LOT of her stuff still here). I'm in the process of taking that over too, pretty sure I can find a few things to store in those drawers.

Cr5: Press is RCBS Rockchucker. Doesn't seem to make ammo as straight as my RCBS Jr did, but I think I could literally crush rocks with it if the desktop would hold up to the abuse.

Is that bench top going to be stiff enough? My bench top is three sheets of 5/8 plywood laminated, and it still flexes sometimes....

I've been using the same bench for 6 or 7 years and no problems. 3/4" MDF + 1/2" ply + 1/4" plate steel under the press.

Just moved it from the garage to the bedroom...... Errrrrmmmmm...... Loading room.
