New M1 Carbines from Auto Ordnance

I don't own one but I have had the opportunity to shoot a couple. Both operated flawlessly with off the shelf ammo. One was being fed the MFS stuff. Not a hitch. I only fired 20 rounds out of each of them but they were comfortable to shoot, finished better than I expected and about as accurate as I expected. Two inches at 50 meters was about all I could get out of them. Normal.

If you're planning on picking one up, go for it. Especially seeing as they are non restricted.

I have heard and read rumors about poor feeding and stovepiping. That wasn't my experience at all.

If I remember right the feeding problems were mag related and usgi mags worked fine

What ammo are you guys finding works good in these M1 carbines?
I was wondering about the TulaAmmo which is $400/1000 but steel case.
I have also seen S&B ammo for about the same price locally. Not sure if it is brass or steel case though.
