New M305 issues

So i picked up a second hand but brand new M305 and a Marstar socom here recently. The wierd thing is, im getting really strange binding on both. The Marstar one, i cant pull back the charging handle on far enough to cycle a round and the regular 18.5 goes bach slightly farther then gets stuck back. Both will return forward with a shove.

Havent had this issue with any of my Norcs before.

Have you taken them out of their stocks to have a look at the return spring & op rod & guide rod?

Sounds like the op rod is rubbing on the underside of the barrel. Mine did that and required some filing and a dremel.

Could be the oprod guide is out of time. Research the tilt test. Also, while inspecting the oprod guide, look at where the gas piston makes contact with the oprod itself. That contact point should be centered on the oprod

Looking at both, the oprods are slightly out of line with the gas piston/gas block. Could be it.

The 18.5" that gets stuck to the rear, its charging handle could be getting caught on the disassemble notch. Not sure if this is what you mean but it happens sometimes on the one I just purchased.

Had the same problem with the charging handle staying back a few times when i first bought it. I disassembled it, cleaned it and greased it. Shot a few rounds and now, not a single problem.
