NEW Mag-Fed Kodiak 9" and 13" Marine and Blued

Expect ear ringing if you don’t double plug.

Also, expect to become deaf if you use it for self defense since you won’t have time to put those plugs on.

But otherwise it’s crazy fun!!

Just slip a sock over the end of the barrel( improved home defense flash hider/muzzle Silencer) added plus it makes tracing your shot real easy !
P,S use a clean one !( no D an A trace ):HFU:Laugh2:shotgun:

Just Recieved my marine.
First impressions:
Turkey kicks ass over China. Fit, and finish is superb. It seems much lighter than my Grizley.
Magwell isn't a fabbed sheet steel rectangle anymore, but a solid cast hunk of metal.
One quibble; magwell is TIGHT. Paint scraping off the backside of the mag, and it catches the front part where the follower goes into the magazine.
A small 45 relief cut to the front magwell is in order. Scared to do that to a Nickle gun though.
MAG release isn't positive. No spring to it, you have to pull it out. On the left side, so I guess you use your thumb.
Spring forward assist? Seems to function well. Helps.
Cross safety is cool. Triangular.

Front sight is nice, and substantial. It would be a nice feature if it was at least tapped for a rail.
You could put in set screws to cap if not needed.

Overall, very happy with the gun so far. I'll have to see how it shoots to determine if I like the fact you can open a cocked action without the release tab.
Nice job Chris!
Aways innovating.

Took mine out to test function the other day. I found it was jamming regularly. If you slowly pushed a shell out of the mg with your thumb you could see it would start to point down. Also it was hitting a bit of an edge on the barrel feed ramp. I disassembled the mag and I'm pretty sure the baseplate was installed backwards? I changed it and lightly dremeled/polished the feed ramp edge. I couldn't get it to jam after that in the shop. We'll see at the range.

Also, I assembled it without the spring assist and it felt weird without a release tab. Is this unsafe?

Ya had to do a bit of "Re-Work" to mine as well but feeds excellent now. Can have operator error if not pumping good enough. Removed forward assist as well , didn't like not being able to leave it open to show unloaded... no problems without release tab. Will not fire out of battery at all. Firing pin does not make it to the shell unless closed tight. But like I said need to learn how to run it for it to go bang every time, not as fool proof as an 870 that way. Super fun once its working though.

Also on mags, 2 of mine drop free no problem and the other 2 need some .. assistance to leave. But working them in ok so far and getting better.

I'm happy with mine..nice amount of pressure with the spring assist..
I like the no last shot hold open..
I think I'm going to get a angled front grip..don't like the idea of blowing of a couple of fingers with the 9 in.

Just playing with some snap caps..and my hammer will fall when the gun is out of battery..
with the bolt up to a inch back.. not sure about the firing pin
I'm going to leave my spring in place

Guess I'm filing a champher into the front magwell. It catches something awful.
Chris, do you plan on addressing this in future shipments?
