Honestly a 100 round's of 308 I think would be a tad heavy but still it would look preaty bad @$$ in a Sage stock.

That would be AWESOME in an Australian Interarms Improved Enfield haha. I mean, 100 round mag is legal in a bolt gun right?

doesn't matter- designed for and fits m14- makes it a 5 round must pin- that's the way the law reads- the fact that it has other applications makes no difference

I stopped by The Beta Company booth at the SHOT Show today. I spoke with Mike H. about the Beta Mag for the M14/M1A. He said they want to make sure it runs flawlessly so it's still a work in progess. No ETA is available.

I talked to a Canadian parts manufacture that is a bit on the lazy side about this AIA mag scenario. He was thinking about making some AIA mag's maybe with the chrome followers but unfortunately he doesn't think there would be that much demand.
Oh ya Different did they say what the hold up was? Is it the extreme heat caused buy a 100 rounds of 308 going off or was it the design?

He said that the drum magazine for the M1A/M14 would be their first .308 caliber model to bring to market. So, my guess is the cartridge size and weight is influencing the reliability. Again, this is speculation on my part as I did not press him for details.
