Does your LaRue RISR interfere with charging in any way? I had to take mine off as it wouldn't allow the bolt carrier back far enough and I was getting FTFs.

Yes, I found that I couldn't rack the charging handle back enough with the stock in the fully-closed position; I had to extend it open to at least the first slot. Otherwise it works great.

I don't understand why you guys need the riser on the CTR? Are you all smurfs? I quite like the cheek weld is fine on my CTR.

I'm definitely starting to accumulate a number of grey hairs. In addition to the bear-saving aspect, I do like the RISR as it gives me about a 1/2" or so higher cheek weld - which I find perfect for me, anyway.

Yeah but the CTR is no wear near as bad as the Vltor stocks. The way Vltor designed their detachable storage tubes gives much more opportunity to snag the face. It was so bad that I had to sell my old EMOD.

I will take your word for it! I just kept snagging mine between the stock and extension tube (those PWS tubes are a snug fit!)
