I love the large loop lever, full length tube mag, and the ghost ring, but the scope rail would have to go.

two words come to mind... YUCK!...oh...and YUCK!

Its bad enough people turn guide guns into zombie bashers..now marlin does it for you.

They're off to a good start with the picatinny rail.

I have been thinking about getting a marlin levergun for awhile now this gun has sold me. Not too crazy about the big lever look, but it is functional for sure.

It took ten years for Marlin to finally figure out that not not all of us have a child's hand & gotta larger lever for their decked out zombie killer. Hell I bought mine back in 99 and first thing to go was the lever. The front sight got replaced with a Williams fire sight in red (wish it was green) & a lyman rear peep sight with an adjustable apeture from N.Y. (can't remember makers name right now). That FUGH ugly rail & sight system has to go. Although pistol grip might be nice & laminate stock is sweet. Still better than a Winchester or a Mosseberg, the later from what I have heard...

These are really nice lookers, but a bit flashy for me, I will like to see them finish like the Ruger Stainless steel and with a synth stock.
