Nice Marlin!! I do like the stainless ones and either the SS or the XLR model has been on my 'to buy' list for a while.
I had great results as well with the LVR powder when I reloaded for the 30-30, i used both 150s and 170s from Sierra/Hornady. I got very close to advertised velocities with book max charges even out of 20" barrels.
But after finding cases of Fed blue box 170s for sub $20/box on sale a couple of years ago, I just stocked up on that and can't be bothered to reload for the 3030 anymore!
