Went to a local firearms dealer today to drop off a magazine for repair and got looking at some rimfires. Was thinking about getting a .22, but the only one they had in stock that I wanted was more than I wanted to spend today. While looking through their used inventory, I came across this Marlin 917V with a 3-9x32 scope and Harris(?) bi-pod for $299.00
The previous owner did the custom paint over the wood stock, and judging by the areas where it's peeling, there was no prep work done to the stock before hand, so it may clean up very nicely if I so decide to.
Got it home and gave the barell a quick cleaning and off to the range I went. Set up two targets, 50 yard and 100 yard.
50yd
No adjustments were made to the scope on the 50 yard.
100yd
I adjusted 1 inch right only on the 100 yard. The top left being my last group.
It was just too cold for me to be trying to get the the scope zeroed any tighter, so I just plinked off the box of ammo and called it done.
