Marlin did a great job with this latest model. I modified my original Guide Gun the long way- bought all the above parts ( plus happi-trigger) . should have waited I guess.

is the rail easily removable? it looks fugly with the rail and no scope.

The rail definitely stands out more against stainless than it does against one that's blued.
I think I'd wait until I had it in my hands before I passed judgment on the aesthetics though.

I like it. That's a sharp lookin piece of machinery. I was thinking about getting myself set up to cast bullets and that seems like it might be a good enough reason.

There haven't been any come through here yet, and a lot of people are waiting for them.

Nice rifle. I'm bummed the rear sight is on the rail, it would look much nicer without the rail.

It appears to be an XS Sight rail and rear sight. It is removable and can be replaced with a ghost ring rear sight.

i think i was quoted approx 1200-1300 bucks but that was about 3 months ago so likely a million now
