Interesting looking O/U from Maverick, marketed to the home defense market. Not much on the net, but I just picked up the new Shooting Times HD issue and it has a great write up.

All black, shortened to 18.5" version of their Hunter model.

Rail on top of the receiver seems to be cast in, and then another at the end of the barrel. Fiber optic front site, cast receiver, and will come with imp/mod chokes. Sorry I couldn't do more in the pic department. It's called the HS12, though there doesn't seem to be anything available on the net. Same issue actually showed an interesting chopped-barrel 92a1 that I can't track down.

Tried to take a picture for you all.

Apparently it handles wonderfully, but not just a fun item. Who knows -- we'll have to wait and see.

Lets see if this worked

First a tactical sxs now a tactical O/U

What's next a tactical combo gun?

Tactically shoot the bad guy with a tactical .410 round and then tactically follow up with a tactical .22lr kill shot?

This is getting ridiculous.

No, You use the .22 first. the .410 is for if they are still coming....

Tactical Lever anyone? Actually that'd never happen, as being high capacity and quick to load the next round, it actually makes sense. The defensive capacity of an 8.5 inch pump is debatable what with only 2+1, but at least you can load more without taking the gun out of action as you do with a sxs or o/u. I hope the tactical sxs and o/u at least have some "fling the empties 2 miles away ejectors," I'd hate to have to pull out empty shells when the third buddy of the two criminals I just shot, is coming at me.

...I LIKE IT. Not for the "tactical" style but because of the price and I like black:). I'd only get it with the long or "normal" barrel length..being 26" or 28". Where can you get these?

I'll have the pics up tomorrow, as it's a modified version of the above. Though I'd rather a pump, I think I'd would make a great bush gun. It's about six pounds, which isn't bad. Downside: extractors, not ejectors. I thought the s/s was a tacky POS, but this got me excited.
