For the magazine issue, it is a typical Short action Savage mag..I find it awkward to put back on, kinda like an M14 mag.

The McMillan left the shelf the same day it arrived, we are expecting more very soon..

For that model, i would feel more confortable to have the No mag model, the Mag was hard to get at, I check out the HS stock Savage, it not very friendly...
