i was just on irunguns.ca and noticed he had some Ruger Mini-14's listed there.

i also noticed that the 'tactical' ones are labeled as Restricted.

what gives?

as far as i could see the only difference between the ranch rifle and the 'tactical' ones where the addition of a flash hider.

so if thats the case then my ranch rifle with a after market stock and after market flash hider when then make it..... restricted?

the insanity of it all!

Barrel length, 18.5" vs 16".... that's all. Thanks to our completely illogical firearms laws, this is the mass confusion and retardation we are left to deal with.

Yeah, you can buy a ruger 10-22 with a 16" barrel no problem, because it's a rimfire, just not a auto loading center fire rifle.

Now I want a restricted mini-14 , that would be pretty cool.
