Hi Guys...Just wondering if anyone else has purchased a Win Model 70 Extreme Weather lately and noticed that the stock was different than the one on the website ? I bought mine last year online and when it arrived I noticed it did not look quite right...I compared it to the one on the Win site and noticed that the pistol grips are different ? Mine is not very defined and lacks a grip cap...the one on the website is much more pronounced and has a grip cap and in my opinion looks better. ( I did see my stock type on the Model 70 on the Winchester international site but it is not there anymore ). I am wondering where I can get a stock identical to the one on the website...any help is appreciated. Thanks !

That's right..cause every rifle needs a McMillan or it will instantly fall apart once you get out hunting.
I've never found them to be the wrong choice.
So are the ones for sale right now the ones with or without the grip cap and defined pistol grip?
No but some guys think they're the only choice. The "toss the B&C stock" comment is just plain idiocy. Most if not all the Cooper sythetic stocks are B&C, if they were junk they would not be on those fine rifles.
