New Model Blackhawk HELP!!!

Ok guys here is the problem. I have a Lipsey Special Edition New Model Blackhawk .45acp/.45LC Convertible that I was going to put up for sale here. I have not shot it very much so before I put it in the EE I wanted to take it to the range and fire a few rounds. I like to make sure that any firearm I sell is functioning properly if I have not fired it in a long time. This one has been a safe queen....lol
So....on to the problem. I fired exactly 10 rounds and then as I was thumbing back the hammer it felt like it was binding on something. So I immediately unloaded and put it aside. I didn't want to damage anything.
I got home and put it under the lamp to see what I could see.....pulled out the cylinder and gently started to pull the hammer back to see where it was binding....that's when a little plunger and spring popped out and fell on the mat. After that the action worked fine.
So....I started investigating and located where the plunger and spring fit in. The problem. There is a little threaded screw that hold them in place. That I could not find....lol.....I figured no problem. I'll order a new one from Brownell's and put the spring and plunger back in. I have looked at every schematic and every picture of parts for a Blackhawk on Brownells that is there and I could not find the part. I was wondering if anyone can identify the part that I am looking for. I have attached a pic of a stripped Blackhawk from the internet and circled in red the parts that came out and circled in yellow the part that I need.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The picture that you posted is that of an Old Model 3-screw Blackhawk.

Your New Model Blackhawk has different internals, including a peculiar V-spring to unlock the cylinder, actuated by the loading gate, as well as a transfer bar safety mechanism.

As you can see, there are several small plungers with springs in the action, and some of them are retained by cross-pins.

The only one that seems free to pop out on it's own is the one that is in the grip frame located above the trigger guard.
Although, since it actuates the cylinder bolt, I can't see how it could get past this part and work it's way up to the hand opening to fall out.

Another spring and plunger is the cylinder rotating hand assembly that is cross-pinned into the hammer, and applies pressure to the hand.

However, if either spring and plunger assembly was missing, then the gun would not operate correctly.

If the hand spring and plunger fell out, then possibly the cross pin supposed to retain it was never installed, or it has broken.

You should check to see if there is spring pressure pushing:

1) the cylinder bolt upward,
2) the cylinder rotating hand (pawl) outward.

If there is normal spring pressure, and the revolver works properly when you point it up or down, or hold it upside down,
then another possibility exists.

Since these revolvers can require some finicky assembly, it is easy to drop small parts, and the people doing the assembly these days are not the old-time Ruger technicians.

So, perhaps it's just a part that was dropped into the action accidentally, and since the revolver functioned properly (at first anyway), it was not detected by the quality control people or the guy firing the test shot.

^^^ The parts in the picture that are circled are the same. This plunger goes into the frame under the hammer and is held in place by the little screw I circled in yellow. The plunger sticks out into the cylinder area. I can see the threaded hole it goes into when the hammer is cocked. I can't see this part or the spring/plunger in that diagram. That's why I asked. I have the spring/plunger and have confirmed it fits in that hole....I just need to figure out what the part number for the retaining screw is so I can order another one.I have added a pic of where this part goes....I need the screw that goes in this little hole. I am assuming this screw was loose and worked it's way out during firing.

I think that I found the part that you are looking for, although not specifically for your model of Blackhawk.
This plunger and spring and the set screw are not used on regular New Model Blackhawks.
What it does is to assist the cylinder to line up with the loading gate for faster reloading.

From what I could find, the Lipsey's Flat Top New Model Blackhawks in .357, .44 special, and .45 Colt/.45 ACP were built on a smaller frame size equivalent to the Old Model .357 Magnum Blackhawk, which is similar in size to the smaller frame size of The New Model Vaquero, which also uses this indexing pin and plunger.

The diagram is on page 30 of this manual.

In all probability the assembly is exactly the same, so this screw would fit.
However, I could not locate a diagram for the Ruger Flat Top New Model Blackhawk itself.
