Hey all, I am new to the Handgun sport. I have acquired Jericho 941 and M&P 22. Both were in stock at a the retailer. I was reading some of the 2014 Shot Show updates and came a cross Smith and Wesson New models. I would like to acquire a revolver in 44 mag. The new model 69 intrigues me. Question is.... Typically how long does a new model take to hit the Canadian retailers? or should I find a 629. Thoughts. Thx I like the idea of smaller framed gun.

Not sure about S&W but ruger takes about a year to a year and a half to make it up here.
You could always buy one in the states and have it imported by one of the importer gun companies.
I'd start by calling your local store and asking them to check with their supplier first.
If memory serves me wanstalls typically gets in S&W on a fairly regular basis.
I know that is were I got my S&W pro core before I saw them anywhere else up here.
