New Model Navy Revolver *** Bandwidth***

Hey all, thanks to nessy's advice, I have joined the ranks of blackpowder'ers. Paid for it almost two months ago, but took me that long to get a
short term ATT . The name on the top of the pistol is Euroarms Brescia - Made in Italy, .36 cal New Model Navy. The guy
who sold it to me said he bought it new in the 70's. Overall bluing is excellent, with only light wear on the tip of the front sight, cylinder,
and on one or two exposed edges. Crisp cocking and nice smooth light trigger.

Can anyone tell me more details, or what it might be worth?

Here the stamping on both the cylinder and the frame is PN with a star in a circle above it. On the frame there is XXu stamped, and on both the cylinder and the frame there is a very small shield with a V and two lines crossing behind it.

Here is the stamping "Euroarms Brescia - Made in Italy"

On the left side of the barrel; ".36 Cal. New Model Navy"

On the left side is the usual arrangement of stampings and "-For Black Powder Only-"

Not sure about Modern Repo BP revolvers but that webley Holsters worth a few bucks

Them holsters are quite collectable. can go for $50 and up alot higher.

You don't see too many.36 cal. Remington Navies, the usual is Armies in .44. I couldn't tell you how much it's worth. It looks to be in pretty good shape.KD

Yah, it's definitely repro - I found a site that identifies a few of the markings. The XX means it was made in 1964. Unfortunately seems to be fairly rare, as Euroarms Brescia either closed or was taken over in the late 70's or early 80's.
