What have you tried that worked or didn't for you? I've got big hands but short fingers. Maybe grips rounded at the butt, finger grooves, even rubber wouldn't bother me. Pics would help if you can. I will be shooting standard power loads. Just don't want to end up with 1/2 dz sets to find the right one for me. Thanks for your time.

Note, last 44 mag was an Anaconda, wonder trigger and grip. Long time ago, long gone

I have the the exact same problem. I have only used a pacmayr decelerator other than the factory stocks and I won't recommend it. The rubber is way too soft and thin on the back strap and actually made it narrower than factory which felt like driving the sharp part of a framing hammer into my palm on top of the hole that it wore in my hand. I think the harder rubber versions like the presentation grade might work better but haven't tried them yet.

Back in the day Hogue made a nice grip for them that I personally preferred over Pachmyer.

I've been reading a bit about how to hold these classic shaped single action grips. Will do some experimentation. I'll be reloading, especially for the wife, so room to reduce loads too.

It's more of a two finger grip with the pinky wrapping under the butt of the grip. The pinky underneath also provides good leverage when cocking the hammer shooting with one hand.
Not sure which model Superblackhawk you have but Ruger does make a longer grip frame it's on the older dragoon style trigger guard models and the only one I've seen with a round trigger guard is on the Hunter models. Ruger should make the longer grip frame an option on on all their models for people with large hands or shooting heavy loads.
