They had a couple of other cool mockups at Gunsite that will hopefully made it to market. One with a standard bead, and another with the SPX add ons (ghost ring, heat shield, etc.).

I agree that the old Mossberg 930 design has a problem with getting dirty too quickly.
They need to be taken apart and cleaned spotlessly to run well.

I really like the look of this new 940 self-cleaning gas system.

The pre-machined optic notch is a nice touch as well.

I really have enjoyed the 930. I haven't cleaned mine once, owned it for years. It hasn't failed yet, and all I use pretty much is low wall bulk brass.

Anyone know if the SPX barrel, rear sight, and pic rail are available in canada?

18.5" barrels for 930's and 940's seem to be non-existent in Canada. It wouldn't be hard to convert the 940 JM Pro to a Pro Tactical with a barrel and tube mag/spring swap

Great work by new Mossberg/JM/OR3 getting this dialed into a competitive offering, seems like plenty of performance and endurance at a good price point.

I like the rear sight mount and flared muzzle, adjustable LOP, and the Briley choke set included with the JM Pro. excited to see what the Canadian tac model looks like.
