I am in the market for a new muzzleloader for deer hunting. I have been looking at the Traditions Vortek, seems like a good value. If anyone has any experience with it I would appreciate hearing about it. Also any advise on the new 209 type muzzleloaders would be helpful as this is new to me. I hunted a bit with a hawken type percussion rifle about 10 years ago. Unfortunatly my situation dictates I will have to purchase this without being able to handle it first.
