New NcStar Scopes from Marstar

Here's the two best pics I can get through the scope, they really do not do it justice compared to actually looking through the scope.

This one is at 3x

And this one at 9x

P.S. if you think the 3x pic is really fuzzy it really is not its just me trying to awkwardly align the camera and scope and it didn't work out too well!

hope this helps your decisions.

Man I should be making commission from Johnone for these posts!lol

Thanks kilgour77 those pics look really good. I got burned by a knock-off eotech from Ebay which was garbage but these look to be a good deal. How do you find the eye relief on higher settings?

Its looks pretty well made for the price and thanks kilgour77 for the pics.

My m305s need some optic and I'm interested to see if it will hold zero well because the M14 platform is hard on glass.

I find the eye relief to be pretty decent all around and is still very good at high power.

As for the M14 optics, make sure to locktite the mount screws, I could not get my Bushnell 3-9x to hold zero on mine until I hit the mount screws with red locktite. I think one of these scopes would work really well on a 305, and yes they are hard on glass.

I blew my wad on my AR project and had zero dollars left for optics.
I decided to give the NC Star 1.5-4x32 Tactical III a try and so far I am pretty impressed with the quality of the glass and the scope in general.
The eye relief is perfect for mounting on my AR and the scope has a built in quick release mount so no need for rings.
Going to the range tonight for some testing and will follow up after I give a test run.

WARNING - Before you fire your gun, take the screws out that hold the scope to the integral mount and put a drop of thread locker (locktite) on the threads.
Mine zeroed in 4 shots and shot loose in about 10.
First impression was very favourable, the glass is clear and bright. Now to see how it groups and holds zero once the thread locker dries.

Have you had a chance to check this after applying loctite? I've been considering one of these also.

bump

Just bumping this thread to see if any owners of this scope have any more reviews. I am considering one for a mini-14 which is notoriously hard on scopes. Also I have no idea how I would get it mounted, but im sure there is a way. I see them online for about $225.00 right now.

i bought one for my m4 about a week ago and so far i am impressed with it i went out yesterday to try and sight it in but was a little of the target considering this is my first rifle with a scope on it so if anybody has any ideas or would like to share knowledge on the best way to sight it in i am all ears or eyes i should say, from what i see the scope is very well built and the blue reticle is bright once i figure out how to sight it i will post more, i shot 200 rounds of pmc 55gr and the scope held on pretty tight no movement
