Got this in the mail today. Simple and easy to install. Unlike every other adaptor I've seen this one came with an original VZ folding stock bolt. It was obviously a used bolt, but I'd much rather have it than the typical insert/socket cap bolt. The shape of the adaptor makes it easy to stake the castle nut.

It's a bit higher cheek weld than the factory fixed stock but the iron sights are still completely usable.

Two thumbs up!

Mine should be here next week.Your post and pics inspired me to go the AR stock route:)
The sight you have on there do find it to low or just right with the AR stock?

The TRS-25 gives roughly a bottom third co-witness with the factory irons. I don't have any issues height-wise with that stock/sight combo. It's a full, proper cheek-weld.

Thanks:)
Right now i have a micro aimpoint set up on mine but i have the Larue tall mount.I find with the folding stock that i have to raise my cheek up a bit to see the dot.I need to find a Medium height mount but have had no luck.

You're welcome. Even with a low QD mount the Micro will sit a bit higher than my Bushnell. Personally, I'd go with the factory mount and co-witness or a low QD mount.

Call the girls at target sports, Paul can give you a hand. They have a large selection of ADM mounts

I must admit this is so far the best AR adaptor design out there.
The only bad side is that it's on Stevo's rifle and not mine!
:p

Any chance of seeing a folding version?

it is in the works but is behind a couple new projects. Our next item on the machines will be our swiss arms lower, AR monolithic upper and 870 barrels. All slated to be on dealers shelves before Jan 17th.

And our 858 tritium front sight posts will be shipping to dealers next week.

Breaking??

From user abuse or on the manufacturing side?

Greg

The small screws are the weak points on the design. Ran 2500+ rounds through my CZ over the summer on the farm. The little screws were always coming loose, even with red loctite. I just couldnt tighten them any more without stripping them.

But i ran the gun pretty hard in alot of cases, and it was a tractor/work truck gun, it was borderline abused. Ill be picking up this NEA adapter in the near future, it looks solid. Would be nicer with a hex headed bolt though.

On the plus side, the CZ ran like a champ, had one stoppage all summer, and thats because i didnt brush out the chamber after a crate and a half of ammo and then let it sit for two weeks uncleaned.

Stevo:

Can that adaptor be turned 180 degrees for a LH shooter, or does it only go on one way??

Just the one way. If I was a lefty I'd get a standard AR receiver end-plate, grind out the indented area, and use that for a sling hook mount. I did that with the S&J adaptor I had on my 870 and it worked like a charm.

If you squint you can see what I mean behind the pistol grip.

Speaking of swiss arms lowers, if and when we ever get the SAPR, is there any chance of a lower for it that takes the SR25 style mags?

This AR adapter is the best design I've see from you guys yet! Handsome!

Too bad I just sold my CZ or I'd order one up.
