Anyone else watched this? So far I watched an episode and a half and got sick of listening to this guy babble. Went to check out the episode of him hunting Kodiak Brown bear and instead had to listen to his sales pitch on Trijicon scopes for 15 minutes or better. It's shows like this why I don't watch too many. Too much advertising and useless jib jabber.

Thoughts?

I wasn't impressed with this show either, he seems very american about his ways. Hunting hard with a guide on private land, logging all those hours that make him an expert lol.

Same as every show on wild TV . Outfitted hunts where the "hunter" is much more concerned with a good camera shot than an ethical killing shot . At least it's a hunting show on Netflix I guess

I couldn't even get through one show... the guy is a moron... they were actively elk hunting with elk in the immediate vacinity and he is moving all over the place, gesticulating widely with his bare hands... the camera kept zooming in on his fat face and he would start babbling on.... I couldn't take it anymore and flipped to Big Bang Theory reruns.

Never heard a guy talk so fast and so much. It's just annoying to listen to him. I was also quite annoyed with the kodiak episode. Regardless, I gave it 4 stars hoping Netflix would add more hunting shows.

I was hoping when I saw the show that it was "the Hunt" which was about hunting brown bears in Alaska and narrated by James Hetfield from Metallica. Sadly, no...

I also did the same. I support the concept, but that guy had the worse case of verbal diarrhea I've seen in quite some time....

The host just never shuts up. He talks so fast that all his works roll together. Just can't understand him half the time.
I rather watch Babe Winkleman which is also on Netflix.

He spends more time telling the audience how much of an expert he is than actually showing us anything useful. It just goes to show how great of a show Meat Eater is. Hopefully they bring more seasons!

Babe Winkelman on the other hand, that show cracks me up. I think his only sponsor gig is the stainless steel mug industry.
