That is a nice looking D!!
I remember when I bought mine some 20 years ago for $249 and I thought I was getting ripped off back then...lol

I bought one in around 2004 for $229. Never had the bayonet though. Silly me sold it 10 years later for $200.

Nice gun !! I got mine new in 1988 . Even the serial # starts with 88 . I still have all that came with it ; box
papers & TWO 30 rd. mags . Shot it some over the years , but always cleaned & oiled after. I have bought & sold
many SKS's but always kept this "D".

congrats on your finding.

i do not know what are the asking price of one today but few few years a t81 folder was available for less than $1k before shipping and tax ...

Congratulations. I wanted to buy one at a Kamloops gun show years ago but had a feeling it was a clone.

About 10 yrs ago ,one walked into a gunshow, I think it was about 3-350, with a bunch of mags, I hid it under the table, but some guys seem to have X ray eyesight, and money.
Damn hard to hid stuff at a gunshow.
