Well, I have to give these guys full credit for creativity and for catering to the Canadian market.
I'ld love to hear and see more.

Give them a break. Not all manufacturers are multi-million dollar companies that have both the monetary and human ressources for proper release and marketing of new products.

I mean ####, we have what looks to be a fairly small operation out of the US that is willing to develop something for the canadian market AND go through the whole FRT approval process.
Like the product or not, give credit where credit is due. Even though I find it interesting, I'm personally not even a fan of the platform as currently pictured. I'm just happy when a new underdog successfully brings something new to us.

Oh come on! We're not sitting here asking for SHOT show level of quality. How about when he finished shooting in that 23sec video, the camera came closer so we can see the damn firearm? Or spent 10 more seconds saying a bit more about it. Gee, i didnt know that Youtube charged per second of video.

Hell, when i did my SKS mag adapter i spent the time to make two videos about it. With ZERO intention of making $$$ off of it.

Whatever, no skin in my game. They will only sell them if people know about them, and right now, the impression is not favorable.

So how come Thureon and JR didn't come up with a NR 223 of their own that could take AR mags? Missed opportunity on their part. Looks exactly like a TD, IMO.

I got tons of AR mags and ammo. If in 1K range give or take, I'd get one.
 
I wonder when they submitted that for classification? It seems to take at least 2yrs for most guns these days. The MPAR is on Gen2 already and still no FRT 2yrs later. There are other well known rifles sitting in the same boat right now.
On the upside it doesn't look hard to mod that hand guard to key mod standards. It might make it a bit lighter as well. A reliable 180B clone would be welcomed in the Cdn market. It may even be better than the plastic SU-16.
