OK, I read almost all of the reviews and commentsmade on this firearm. Most very positive. So I bought one. I have not yet fired it but it seems to be relatively well made.

I cleaned it upput it thru the function test, I notice the coating is an aluminum paint not parkerized. The dust cover looks like it was cut from a tin can. I will start modifing it with North American parts as soon as I can.

Looking forward to puting a couple 100 rounds thru it soon. The mags seem well built tho.

Let you know what happens.

I've got several hundred thru mine and only a couple minor complaints.
They don't like to be run dry on lube and factory mags werent very good. Had 1 weird misfeed that drove the cartridge into the side of the chamber but only the once. I like mine and feed it on a regular basis.

My Chinese Girl Friend in 5.56 mm

OK I have put about 2200 roads through it. No issues. The trigger was a little clunky at first but now. Wow smooth. The finish on it not chipping or peeling(yet)

As parts wear as they will I will replace them with various american bits and pieces.

I will continue to treat it like crap and see what gives first the gun or my ammo.

I have use remington 55g 223 and winchester 62g 223 as well as PPU 55g 5.56. all good no issues.

Good report - mine has maybe 200 rounds through it, and the trigger feels a bit rough. I'll let it run up to a couple thousand rounds before I worry. I krylon'd the plastic furniture, and put a Bushnell Trophy red dot on it. It seems to be a fine gun for a starter. TangoDown Mags definitely help though.

c q 5.56

well i just brought mine home from winnipeg and where i bought her they had the smith and wesson ar and to be honest the triger on my norq was actually better than the smith they did an amazing job on these atleast mine anyways shes going to the range first thing tommorrow to see how it shoots i got a hundred rounds of the norq yellow box ammo to try in her so see how it goes

Finally shot mine. I am very impressed with the action. Let the shells rip. I only fired a box through it but no hiccups at all which I would expect from a gun that even though cheap is still a 700 dollar gun and I expect at least that out of it. After dry firing and racking the action about 100 times both the action and the trigger have smoothed right out. The trigger pull is actually much better than expected. I will need to take it to the range and invest a hundred or 2 rounds into it. Get the iron sights on target a little better, however I have a riser on order and a 3-9x scope I plan on putting on it and hopefully I can get some good groups out of it. These are a really impressive value and again even though they are chinese, you are buying them from a Canadian store. Everything is made in China now so really as they continue to improve on quality and we keep slippng in quality and outsourcing we have to start figuring things out.

2200 rounds already.

Holy burnt powder Batman! How much have you cleaned it?

Looks like you spent your time shooting rather than posting stuff here. 'grats on your 1st 2 posts in 8 months.
