I aswell like the look. Still has that retro look with a little update. I like the new sights too, being that my dad shoots my 1911A1 and has some trouble with the low profile sights this might be a big welcome for him.

could live with the sights and the serrations but the trigger guard ruins it for me.

The trigger guard is not that bad, its a copy of the 2011 Frame style. I hope they do smooth out the edges, unlike some of the older 1911 /razor blades lol.

I think it looks pretty good myself. It's abit different from previous models but there is nothing wrong with that. I still say it is the best finish I've seen on a Norinco so far.

that's why i bought one (the Norc). first thing to "adjust" is that ugly trigger guard - gonna round it off, and then probably give the entire frame a nice coat of paint (colour TBD). i can live with the rest - the sights MIGHT get changed if i can find something less blocky for cheap.

Hell I'll trade you my frame for the under cut (square one). I have the round trigger guard and de norced and finished in semi gloss black duracoat. Any takers?

I gotta say, I held it the other day and while the finish is a lot better than before, it just felt like a toy rather than a 1911. Maybe its just me..
