The real squigly spring works with the take down lever beside the block in the lower reciever. The half roung spring is for the decocker and the small plastic bit goes in the frame under the back of the hammer. It contains the hammer rebound spring. First thing you should do with this pistol is shorten the slide rail on the right side at the mag well. They tend to crack here as they (The Chinese) made the rail a wee bit too long.

how does one shorten the slide rail and I take it these parts are extra's I don't have to install them?

Yes the springs and bit are extras, although I don't know why, these parts don't usually need replacement. One makes the rail shorter with a file and a little elbow grease. You only need to remove about 1/16" of an inch, just so the slide does not contact the rail on the way forward.

Sorry no. The only one we worked on already cracked the slide and finished the gun!

The fellow who owned it put some 15 or 16,000 rounds thru it before the problem showed up and then he noticed it was just not shooting straight any more. The fix was a new gun. I'll take a look at a sig today or Sat and let you know. e mail me at srpl@ocii.com that will be easier for me!

looks pretty good for chicom ;)

She cleans up real nice.

Question : in the picture which displays the pistol from the rear, it appears that the front sight-post tritium is offset to the one
side from centre. Is this just and optical effect introduced by the camera, or is the dot truly off centre?

Awwww man, I can't wait any longer! When is marstar gonna get more of these in?
For some reason when I was at wholesalesports the other week I got to handle a p226 and I've just fallin in love with the thing:runaway: . The biggest thing that kept me from putting any money down on her was that big price tag, I've thought about getting one of the refurbished ones but still it is outa my price range, so for now I'll go with the norinco np-22 till the time comes that I can afford to get my paws on a sig p226.
So can any one tell how does the fit of the np-22 compare to the p226? Out of all the hand guns that I got to handle that day it was the sig that fit the best.:dancingbanana:

I'm never gonna be getting any sleep till I get my hands on one now. What are you guys do'in to me?:runaway:
