Just picture a wk180c with a very long handguard, at triple to quadruple the price.

With a Rifle-length Short-Stroke Piston System, AR-15 Controls (including AR Bolt Catch), AR-Style Magwell contour, AR Trigger Packs, Beavertail Pistol Grips, AR Contouring and Ergonomics, and a few other very nice features that I am not going to reveal until my review in a few week's time. All for less than twice the price of a WS-MCR. More featues = more machine time = increased cost per finished item. It is that simple. And machinists in England don't work for free, as some here might expect...

I want to put my faxen gunner 18.5'' ar-10 barrel on it.

There's probably dimensional differences between the barrel extensions and gas ports that would prevent that from working correctly. A big bore version of a 180 is possible, but you'd need a bigger receiver to accommodate the bigger magazine, and likely bigger recoil springs as well.

Looking forward to your review!

I'm just saying, as far as a picture goes. Looks like a wk180c.

This sounds very interesting from what I have read

I have scanned thru this entire thread and have not seen a picture of the rifle

Could someone kindly post a picture?

We will post pictures in a few weeks once all of the production parts are here. I do not want to publish pre-production and prototype photos as these muddy the waters.

If you’re on Facebook, the CCFR group page has a picture, which was posted on August 20th. Not much, but it gives you an idea of what it may look like.

Super interested in this. Eagerly awaiting the release. Pending availability I’ll be 100% sure to buy one, once Bartok signs off in his review.

Maybe I’m too many beers deep, but it sounds like this rifle might be obtainable relatively soon? Election time ish?

Side note: Is a larger caliber ar180 style rifle, on your radar JR?
