New nuts and firing pins for an old SXS

Just love the circular hammers. My first real gunsmithing project was making a new firing pin for the family shotgun, a Neumann Bros with the same hammer shape. That was a long time ago.
Did the threads on those nuts come in any kind of standard size or did you have to get creative?

The threads are 5/16 X 24 (NF) so it was no problem. Fortunately the threads in the action were not buggered and a tap cleaned then nicely.
