DLASK RUGER SR 22 Extended Charging Handle $28.00

P1040274-1.jpg

Oversized and extended , bolt handle is easy to grasp and provides fast, positive charging or clearing. Precision machined from high quality 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum hard anodized provide the correct weight and balance for reliable, trouble-free operation. Choice of engraving maple leaf or skull, please specify.

Doesn't look like it comes with the rod or spring, it would be nice if it did with a "c" clip lock like Tac Innovations.

F.U.G.L.Y... and I'm a Dlask fan. I would love to see Joe do one similar to the Superior Concepts charging handle;

Yeah I agree its more of a function over fashion item, but then again I don't by parts for a gun to make them look better, just a personal preference though, I also noticed that Dlask is offering springs of different strengths, one at 10% reduced power, 10% increased and one factory strength. Are these something new or an existing offer that was out of stock for a while.

P.S. Hoyt, you have some awesome builds and could see why you wouldn't put one of these on them.

no just the handle

That bites, if you are to install this on an OEM rod, you would need to find a way to keep it from coming off.

Hopefully they will offer up some stainless rods with c clips or some other way of keeping the spring and handle from coming off.

I just installed one on my 10-22. I filed the peened end of the stock rod just enought to get the old one off and used a hammer and punch to re-peen to keep the new one on. Not too much work and the new handle (maple leaf one) looks and feels real nice. :)

got a pic? I would like to see how they look installed.

I didn't peen anything. That way if you want to change springs there's no hammer involved. Just hold it together when installing.

I realized when putting it back in the reciever that I could have assembled it without re-peening it but it's done now. Here's a couple pics of it.

It says it for the sr22. But from the looks of the installation, makes me wonder if the handle will rub on upper frame of the scope rail cap.

There are 2 models, one for 10/22, and one for SR, Marauder, etc.
J.Krug seems to have the SR model, I think. It is not a mistake.
The SR-22 handle will work in a 10/22, but not the other way around.
